De Sales Society Mass Schedule 2017-2018
Founded in 1879, the Catholic Deaf in the area, along with Father Herb Sperger, began the DeSales Society of Lansdale. Leaders are Liz and Nick Fazzolare, Irene and Jerry Kand and June and Jim Goodwin. For many years Father Anthony Russo served the DeSales community celebrating Mass on the Fourth Sunday of the month. The purpose of the De Sales society is to provide interpreter services for Liturgical functions, sustain the sacramental life of the deaf, and hold monthly social gathering in the spirit of St. Francis De Sales, the patron of the Deaf. Currently, Father Sean Loomis celebrates Mass for the DeSales Society on the Third Sunday of each month. Mass is followed by lunch and a meeting. All are welcome to attend.
